Welcome to The Honeyy Edit: A Journey of Growth, Wellness & Intention

Hey there, and welcome to The Honeyy Edit!

I’m so excited to finally create this space! Think of it as my digital journal where I can share my journey of self-discipline, wellness, faith, and intentional living. For a long time, I’ve felt the pull to build a life that feels good, inside and out. To slow down, be present, and make small, meaningful changes that shape me into the person I want to become.

That’s what The Honeyy Edit is all about: curating a life of growth, balance, and self-care. One intentional edit at a time. (get it?)

What You’ll Find Here

This blog isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress. It’s about learning, unlearning, and finding joy in the process. Here, I’ll be sharing:

✨ Self-Discipline & Personal Growth – My journey toward consistency, accountability, and getting out of my own way.
🌿 Holistic Wellness & Self-Care – Skincare, cycle syncing, nourishing habits, and how I’m creating a healthier lifestyle.
πŸ₯— Fitness & Nourishment – My high-protein, whole-food approach, plus my half-marathon training journey.
πŸ› Skincare & The Honeyy Cosmetics Journey – My love for organic skincare, behind-the-scenes of formulating products, and the process of relaunching my business.
🌎 Sustainability & Clean Living – Small shifts toward a low-waste, earth-friendly lifestyle and how it connects to my skincare philosophy.

If any of that resonates with you, I hope you’ll stick around. This space is for anyone on a journey of growth. No matter where you’re starting from.

Why "The Honeyy Edit"?

I wanted this blog to reflect who I am and what I’m creating! A life refined with intention, like an "edit" of something becoming more aligned, more whole. And just like honey, life should be rich, nourishing, and slow enough to savor.

I don’t have it all figured out, but that’s the beauty of the journey. So, here’s to evolving, learning, and embracing the process together!

Let’s Connect

This space isn’t just for me it’s for us. If you’re on your own journey of growth, discipline, or just trying to live with more intention, I’d love to hear from you.

How I’m Building Discipline and Staying Consistent

Discipline has always been one of those things I knew I needed, but struggled to maintain. I would set goals, get excited, and then a few weeks later, I’d find myself falling back into old habits. Sound familiar? You’re not alone. For me, the struggle has been waking up early, meal prepping, and staying off social media when I know I should be focused. I’ve spent too many mornings hitting snooze, too many nights scrolling instead of sleeping, and way too much money on last-minute fast food runs. But over time, I’ve learned that discipline isn’t about motivation it’s about commitment . Motivation fades, but systems and habits keep you going. Here’s what I’m doing to build real discipline and stay consistent in my life. Setting Clear, Non-Negotiable Habits I stopped relying on willpower and started treating certain habits as non-negotiable . These are small but powerful things I do daily, no matter what:  • Waking up at 4:30 AM every morning—no snooze button. (Even when I re...

5 Self-Care Rituals That Actually Work

Self-care isn’t just face masks and bubble baths—it’s about real habits that nourish your mind, body, and soul. I used to think self-care meant spending money on expensive products, but I’ve realized that the most effective self-care rituals are simple, sustainable, and actually help me feel better in the long run. Here are 5 self-care rituals that actually work (and don’t require spending a dime).       1.  Waking Up Early & Having a Slow Morning I used to wake up rushed and stressed, grabbing my phone first thing and scrambling to get ready. Now, I prioritize a slow, intentional morning to set the tone for the day. πŸ’‘ What I do:   ✔️ No phone for the first 30 minutes after waking up.   ✔️ Drink warm water with lemon & sea salt to hydrate & reset.   ✔️ Read the Daily Text, stretch, and pray before starting the day.   Small changes, but they make a HUGE difference in my mood and energy.     2.  Moving My Body Daily (...
